MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE SOLICITORS NATIONWIDE UK

To make an application for legal aid medical negligence solicitors must be members of The Law Society Panel Of Medical Negligence Experts. Less than one percent of UK solicitors are franchised by the legal aid board to make application for public funding for clinical negligence claims. We are a national network of specialist solicitors who are entitled to make an immediate application for legal aid. For those who do not qualify it may be possible to take legal action using the no win no fee scheme.

We are not a claims management company and you will not have to deal with any managers or middlemen. You will immediately speak to a specialist clinical negligence solicitor who will deal with your claim personally at all times. You can be sure that your case will be in safe experienced hands.

For free advice on our Legal Aid and no win no fee service then just complete the contact form and a member of The Law Society panel of medical negligence experts will telephone you to discuss your claim.

NO WIN NO FEE - LEGAL AID

A United Kingdom solicitor offers an independent, professional service with unique consumer protection:

  • Independence, integrity and confidentiality guaranteed by professional rules.
  • Compulsory insurance and independent complaints handling machinery in the unlikely event that there is a problem with the service.
  • The Law Society governs entry to the profession, ensuring that all new solicitors are fit and proper persons and have undergone the relevant training.
  • Medical negligence solicitors must contribute to the Compensation Fund which ensures that if a solicitor is dishonest the public will not suffer financially.
  • Solicitors wishing to practise must obtain a practising certificate annually from the Law Society which guarantees that the solicitor is properly qualified and is complying with the professional rules laid down by The Law Society.
  • Solicitors must have Professional Indemnity Insurance, which covers cases where solicitors are negligent.
  • Training and entry to the solicitors' profession takes a minimum of six years. Once qualified, solicitors must keep up to date through a programme of continuing education.

The Law Society has a series of Practice Rules which govern the way a personal injury solicitor behaves which includes:

  • The solicitor must always act in their client's interest except when it conflicts with a solicitor's duty to uphold justice as an "Officer of the Supreme Court".
  • All client details must be kept confidential
  • Clients' money must be kept in a separate account.
  • A solicitor must not act if your interests as a client might conflict with the interests of another client.
  • Solicitors may not set up in business on their own, or supervise an office, until they have been qualified for at least three years.
